Thanks for a great reading of Hodgson's wierd story. I'm curious about the clipper's name, whether it was a reference to some place or person or event. Google doesn't know it outside the story, and I'm too ignorant of history and languages other than English to chase it further.
Mind's Eye Productions made a a cool radio dramatization of the story. I've never come across anyone else trying it, which seems a pity.
