liked the story, but i couldnt help feel that the author had watched "aliens" a few to many times. characters and description was great (and much better that i could do) but just seemed a little to derivitave for my tastes.

While the author clearly borrows elements from the Alien films (and Pitch Black, and Pirates of the Caribbean), I feel that this is a skillful blend of modern cinematic themes and the world of Lovecraft/Howard. Well done!
