This show is inspired by the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu Mythos. You will hear readings of his works, and horror or ghost stories by other authors. The Lovecraft "period" is primarily the 1920's and you will also hear history and music from that period. The aim is to provide anything appropriate to that time frame. However anything "Lovecraft" like or spooky is likely to appear on this show. You are invited to contribute your stories!

That's right today we continue with part 11 of H.P. Lovecrafts "The Dream Quest Of Unknown Kadath". Our hero feels that he might actually be able to see his objectivte and starts to question why some parts of the Earthly dream scape are forbidden.

Can you write like Lovecraft? The Dream Quest is nearing it's end and I'm looking for story authors who think they have a lovecraft like story. If you think you might have a story to suit this podcast, please get in touch and let's see if we can use it on the show. If you have any creepy or scary story set in or around the 1920s or anything that includes elements of the Cthulhu mythos, then please get in touch!

24 - The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath Part 1
We're now into the swing of the weekly episodes, to really kick this off I start presenting a book length story by H.P. Lovecraft, "The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath". This being a full length story, in this episode I only present part 1, the remaining parts will be coming in subsequent weeks, but not in a contiguous stream, there will be other stories intermingled.
For the history segment I present a brief insight into the popular Crossley cars of the war years and the 20's.
The music is "Prisoners Song" by Kaplans Melodists, a 1925 number.
Finally of course I present the main feature "The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath" by H.P. Lovecraft and read by Maureen O'Brien.
I've had a couple of stories sent in, but can always do with more, so if you've written a story suitable for the show, please get in touch. If you have any questions, then please send me an email or post your question on the forums ( link on the left ).

In todays episode I have broken from format to present a single episode from an old radio show called "Dark Fantasy". The story presented is dark and creepy, and is a good representative member of the series.

I dont plan to make a habit of presenting radio programmes in this way, but I thought the show was very good and worth sharing.
