This show is inspired by the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu Mythos. You will hear readings of his works, and horror or ghost stories by other authors. The Lovecraft "period" is primarily the 1920's and you will also hear history and music from that period.
The aim is to provide anything appropriate to that time frame. However anything "Lovecraft" like or spooky is likely to appear on this show. You are invited to contribute your stories!
Hey guess what! In this episode we reach the end of the main body of "South" and start on in on the Appedixeseseseseses. Nearly there! Of course we also have part 36 of the dark and horrifying "The Night Land".
In this episode we continue on the twin adventures , firstly the great white land of the southern pole, and then the dark night-shrouded land of "The Night Land". That should be enough ground for all you damned dirty cthulhu cultists!
The podcast is closing in on episode 300,
and it'll be a little bit special...just a little bit. If fact you
might not even notice it's so little a change, but well, there you go.
In this episode we contine Shackleton's adventure at the south pole, and
of course our journey across Hodgson's "The Night Land".
Okay, well you're not cultists, but you do like creepy stories, and a bit of history. That's like being a cultist isn't it? No? Sheesh. Anyway, here's the lastest podcast with the next parts of Shackleton's adventure of trying to cross the Southern continent, and the heroic rescue attempt across half a world filled with monsters in Hodgeson's "The Night Land". Enjoy.
