This weeks episode gets you the next part of "The Damned", a piece of music from 1930, and the FINAL part of Teddy's "Through the Brazilian Wilderness".
This show is inspired by the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu Mythos. You will hear readings of his works, and horror or ghost stories by other authors. The Lovecraft "period" is primarily the 1920's and you will also hear history and music from that period. The aim is to provide anything appropriate to that time frame. However anything "Lovecraft" like or spooky is likely to appear on this show. You are invited to contribute your stories!

The Discovery of Witches
In 1645 Matthew Hopkins began his career as Witchfinder General. He travelled the country searching for witches and wizards, those he found, he had put to death.
Questions were raised by judges and priests when he they saw him convicting hundreds of men and women. Some even feared that that he might even be accusing these people just to earn money!
To answer their questions Matthew wrote and published this explanation of his methods and motivations.
I have created a reading of Matthews short book and put it up on Audible...

Cthulhu and the River of Doubt
This is a promo-post for a product I've just added into the Kindle store.
The product is called "Cthulhu and the River of Doubt". It has been available as a download or print addition from Lulu for quite a while, but as I said it's now available for the Kindle.
So what is it you ask! Here's the book blurb :
If you're a regular listener to the podcast you'll know that the Roosevelt-Rondon tale is being serialised here in audio format. So what you'll be getting is the text of the original book with annotations by myself added in.

So what is it you ask! Here's the book blurb :
This book is designed for the Role Player with a historic Horror bent, specifically for “Call of Cthulhu” but can be read by anyone. The bulk of the book is made up of the entire text of “Through the Brazilian Wilderness” written by President Theodore Roosevelt. His writing describes a journey taken by himself and acquaintances in 1913, through the steamy jungles of Brazil traveling down the uncharted River of Doubt. This was no pleasure cruise. This journey was an exploring adventure of toil, fear, danger and murder. The jungle that surrounded them for months contained dangerous animals and threatening indigenous people, the water even held man eating fish. Footnotes appear throughout detailing elements and suggestions for turning this epic journey into a Role Playing campaign. An appendix at the end suggests some character profiles for the main protagonists. The Roosevelt-Rondon expedition is the perfect historical source for a role playing campaign.

Hello dear listeners. The latest episode of the podcast finished off the "Mountains" story. I have now combined the 12 story segments into a single audiobook.
There is nothing new in this audio book as far as the audio is concerned, but I have included a file of the text of the story.
If you've been listening to the story as it was podcast then you know what to expect in this book.
